At the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention, we look over the press coverage and reactions and it is as shameful as expected. The sheer need of the press to ONLY have positive coverage of Kamala Harris leads to deeply fractured reports. Dana Bash tries to say the un-manly Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff are positives for Democrats. Then, it gets more ridiculous as WaPo tries suggesting Tim Walz is to be regarded as sexy.
Judy Woodruff had a despicable dose of irresponsible journalism one night, made worse by the fact she is supposedly a veteran journalist. Then, her cohort Jonathan Capehart goes to MSNBC and raves about Democrats displaying the same patriotism that he finds disturbing when Republicans display the same. Then in one example of the most laughably lame reporting NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell finally has a chance to ask questions of the hidden Kamala Harris and she could not be more impotent in doing so.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media malpractice and misinformation.
