Doocy and Watters Bust Kamala's Evading Questions As New Report Explains How She's Getting Away With It

Sounds like if even CNN is saying it and now she's being pressed, this strategy is ultimately going to backfire on her.

Ukraine's Surprise Invasion of Russia Leaves Putin With the Stunned-Mullet Look

The episode has also demonstrated a degree of operational brilliance that no one expected.

Biden's Befuddled Remarks With the Texas Rangers - Their Looks Say It All

This was the guy they told us just last month was sharp as a tack who we should let occupy the Oval Office for four more years.

WHAT'S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill...

While the summer snooze continues, several Democrat/Independent senators are pressing the Biden administration to finalize a federal rule aimed at combatting high drug prices. Meanwhile, San Fran Nan continues to throw her dear pal Joe Biden under the bus while insisting she loves him dearly.

White House What's Up

Speaking of Biden, there's nary a thing on the president's schedule for Friday. He's at the beach. I know some are saying he's still seething about being coup-coup-kachooed by his supposed friends but I'm beginning to think he got the better end of the deal: He still gets to claim the title with zero responsibilities. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

The Homestretch

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris travels to Phoenix, Arizona, for a late afternoon campaign event. The good news is, she actually spoke to reporters on the record and off script Thursday. The bad news is, she actually spoke to reporters on the record and off script Thursday.

We do have confirmation that there will be at least one debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump. That confirmed face-off is set for September 10. Trump announced he was game for two more (one on September 4 and one on September 25) during his Mar-a-Lago press conference Thursday afternoon.

Friday evening, Trump will be rallying in Bozeman, Montana, where he'll stump for former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy in his bid to oust Democrat Senator Jon Tester.

Full Court Press...

As alluded to Thursday, things are starting to really percolate in Hunter Biden's California tax case as trial looms. We'll continue to keep an eye on that.

MORNING MUSING

I'll have a longer article reflecting on it later today, but have to note today is the 10th anniversary of Michael Brown's death and the Ferguson unrest that followed. Another lifetime, but I still remember that day clearly — remember walking in the door to the house following one of the kids' soccer games and seeing the news about the shooting, and then watching throughout that weekend as everything unraveled. With Cori Bush's unseating in Tuesday's primary, it was fitting to note that the activist who largely made her bones from Ferguson will be...moving on to a new chapter.
