Elon Gloriously Triples Down on Calling out Soros

I wrote previously about Twitter owner Elon Musk not giving a flying fig about the left and the liberal media melting down over his opinions during an interview with CNBC’s David Faber.

In addition to calling out election interference with things like the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop, he also stuck to his guns about his comments concerning liberal billionaire George Soros. Musk compared George Soros to X-Men supervillain Magneto. He also said that Soros wanted to “erode the very fabric of civilization. Soros hates humanity.” When you look at the harm that the progressive prosecutors he has helped to put into office have done, it would be hard to disagree with Musk’s assessment. The prosecutors have helped to increase the chaos and crime by failing to hold criminals fully accountable for their actions.

CNBC’s David Faber asked him in the interview why he would call out Soros, and Musk’s response is just brilliant.

Why share it, Faber asks, and the look from Musk says everything. He looked at Faber like he had three heads. Faber is essentially saying you shouldn’t say things that will annoy liberals, you should tailor your speech. But Musk wasn’t having any of it. He said he was going to say what he wanted to say, quoting “The Princess Bride” — “Offer me power, offer me money, I don’t care.” “I’ll say what I want, and if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it,” he declared. It’s so refreshing when you see people normally back down when the liberal media starts pushing — yet Musk just wouldn’t do it.

Musk was called “anti-Semitic” for daring to criticize Soros because the left rejects any justifiable criticism of Soros. That’s a defense mechanism because they truly can’t justify the harm that results from the bad policies Soros pushes. But crying “anti-Semitism” when there isn’t any diminishes actual anti-Semitism. That’s what the left is doing with this kind of lame defense.

But after Musk got a lot of flack over the statement, now he is apologizing and it’s glorious.

One of the things that makes Musk such an interesting character to write about in addition to him watching him being red-pilled in real-time is his humor. We rarely see people in positions of power show that kind of unguarded attitude. He showed that again as he tripled down, capping off the whole incident with a hilarious tweet.

He’s not backing off in the slightest, he’s sticking to his guns, and that’s a great trait to have when the left comes gunning for you as they have for him. Often, the left can make people crumble, he’s telling them to pound sand. He’s helped to make Twitter more open for free speech and more fun at the same time, and that’s a great improvement over what it had been. That’s why the left hates him so much. But he’s holding his ground.
