The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, is in the homestretch. Usually, the people who tune in to watch are watching because they love sports and want to support their country; however, this year, wokeness keeps taking center stage in France.
It began with the mocking of Christianity during the opening ceremony.
It is a disgrace that the Olympic organizers, especially the organizers of the opening ceremony, thought this would be a good idea. There are nearly 36 million people in France who identify as Christian, yet that did not stop them from mocking Jesus' Last Supper and Christians.
But that was a reflection on the organizers, not the athletes. In sign language, Olympian Rayssa Leal said: "Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life."

No matter how much they tried to mock Jesus Christ or put down Christians during the opening ceremony of the Olympics, they failed to understand that our faith will only grow stronger in the face of such adversity. Their attempts to diminish our beliefs will not succeed; instead, they will only reinforce our commitment and deepen our spiritual resilience.
Just a reminder that NBC, the network that broadcasted the opening ceremony, is the same network that edited out the words of Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud during a postgame interview when he gave glory and praise to Jesus Christ:

The Olympics is supposed to bring people together, just like sports in general; however, not only did they mock the Last Supper, but there was another controversy that went viral. You can read more on the story here.
Alleged XY-chromosome holders Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting were the finalists of the Olympics women's boxing gold medal match. There was a lot of controversy around this topic, and one of the lead voices against these boxers participating in the women's division was Riley Gaines.

Wokeness is being baked into sports and ruining it for fans, but more importantly, for athletes like Angela Carini, who worked hard for years to get to the point that she got to, just to face an alleged XY-chromosome individual and unfairly lose her match.
This is what happens when, for years, people in America have shouted from the rooftops that biological men, or in this case, alleged XY-chromosome individuals, should not be competing in women's sports. It is not fair to the women, especially after they put in their blood, sweat, and tears training for a moment like Carini had.
Riley Gaines had this to say on X following the controversy:

For all the talk from the Democrat Party about "women's rights," they remain silent on this issue. Why? Will it hurt them with their base? Will it dry up their campaign donations?
If they truly cared about women's rights, they would speak up about this issue. They would support women athletes and not stay silent while biological males take advantage and "win" against women.
It should be simple. Biological males compete against biological males, and biological females compete against biological females. If the biological male loses every contest against a biological male, that means he's being outworked or is not good enough to compete, which is fine, but he should not be able to take advantage and "compete" in women's sports.
What we have seen at the 2024 Olympics has been the wokeness we have been warning about for years.
