The next time someone tells you to "trust the science," just remember that you are being asked to rely upon a deeply corrupted system that hosts a lot of people who are much more interested in moving their careers forward than in the cause of science.

WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
No hearings or meetings on the calendar for Thursday on the Hill. However, a group of veterans who serve in Congress are spending their D-Day in France, commemorating the 80th anniversary — and some of them are set to jump out of a plane over France on Friday to mark the occasion.
White House What's Up

Full Court Press...
Meanwhile, in Wilmington, Delaware (which narrowly missed getting socked by a tornado Wednesday evening), First Son Hunter Biden will be back in court Thursday for Day 4 of his trial on federal gun charges. The trial is moving along at a brisk pace and looks to be wrapping up sometime early next week.
Witness testimony is still going on in Sen. Bob Menendez's (D-NJ) corruption/bribery trial in the Southern District of New York.
And, since it's Thursday, expect three or four decisions to be handed down by the Supreme Court beginning at 10:00 am Eastern. We'll, of course, get you the skinny on that once they're announced.
