The big news to break last week was the announcement by the Department of Justice that it was handing down indictments of figures from Russian media who have - allegedly - been paying conservative outlets and prominent media figures to push fraudulent election misinformation.
Well…it was one outlet. And the charge was concerning possible FARA violations. The media names mostly were not directly connected but had their content licensed by the outlet. Plus, at this point, this is all supposition and allegations, with nothing proven. Additionally, this smacks of possible election interference itself, considering the convenient timing of things. We will delve deep into this matter and explain it all in detail.
