President Trump, your first and likely last presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris is this week. Now, you haven’t paid any attention to my earlier debate memos – which is very hurtful – but hope springs eternal, and here is my memo with ten new suggestions for you for this final debate.

  1. Note that you, Donald Trump, have a strong edge in this election going into this debate, and that Kamala Harris is a desperate woman who needs to go after you and pray that you are going to make a big mistake. Much attention has been focused on the New York Times/Siena poll which has you narrowly ahead; I prefer to focus on the RCP average which has you narrowly behind in the national popular race. But either way, you are leading in the electoral college because Harris needs to be at least three points up in the national vote to win the presidency.
  2. Note that Kamala Harris does not perform well under pressure, as she showed when she ran for President in 2020. It, combined with her unwillingness to put in the hard work of preparing for her job, often results in her laughing inappropriately or resorting to word salads. And as my colleague Joe Cunningham has written, Kamala Harris is also under pressure because she “had planned to object, fact-check and directly question” you while you were speaking during your debate. But now, with the muting rules in place, her “advisers are scrambling to rewrite their playbook” because her strategy was to throw you off your game by doing so “because her own policies and positions are either undefined or too progressive to be palpable to the general public.”
  3. You should always try to get Kamala Harris off balance by attacking her on a matter that she does not expect. That is because she is not and never has been quick-witted enough to respond well when she is under pressure.
  4. Try to ask Kamala Harris questions or make attacks that can’t be answered, or which there is no good response for.
  5. Whenever a moderator gets involved, either to ask a biased question and/or to assist Kamala Harris, put them in their place immediately, with reference to them being Democrat/left-wing hacks.
    • Be like Newt Gingrich in 2012.
    • Here is a good cinematic scene also demonstrating what your attitude should be towards this biased interference.
  6. Remember that this debate should focus on: 1) the contrast between you, Donald Trump, and Kamala Harris, and your respective records as a leading figure in a Presidential administration; and 2) on Kamala Harris’ very left-wing record and statements. It is a waste of time to refer to another person, or issue, except to fit it into that comparison.
    • Exception = see No. 5 about the moderators.
  7. When in doubt, always try to focus on the big wedge issues, especially: 1) the economy and inflation; 2) the border and immigration; 3) the world chaos, the Gaza situation, and the rioting in the U.S.; and 4) Harris’ wacky left-wing positions.
  8. Kamala Harris has some verbal tics and sayings she is known for. Here are some possible responses:
    • She frequently said “I’m speaking” during her debate in 2020. A possible response to that from you would be “but you are not telling the truth, and I am correcting you.”
    • During her debate in 2020 she said “I will not be lectured by (you).” A possible response to that would be “But you don’t know what you are talking about!”
    • If she gets flustered and resorts to a word salad, you may want to reuse your line from the Biden debate – “I don’t know what she said. And I don’t think she knows what she said either.”
    • If she laughs inappropriately, you may want to channel Joe Pesci from the movie Goodfellas and say “Is this funny? Funny how? I mean, what’s funny about it? We are talking about __________. Do you find this amusing?”
  9. Possible topics that may come up in the debate, and possible responses to them, include:

  • Abortion: My position on abortion is clear – it is a state issue, and the states should handle it. And if they get it wrong, the voters can replace the state politicians who vote on it. But Comrade Kamala is so radical that she wants people to be able to kill babies up to the day before they are born.
  • Antisemitism: I would never support Jew haters. My daughter and grandchildren are Jewish. But Comrade Kamala supports Democrat Jew haters when they riot on campuses and attack Jews. She meets with them behind the scenes, and promises to support their positions and appoint people they like to her cabinet, like Keith Ellison. And she even refused to pick a Jewish Governor for her running mate because he was Jewish. A Jewish person would be crazy to support her.
  • Biden’s Senility: In 2020, Comrade Kamala was asked in her debate if she had a conversation with Crooked Joe about a potential presidential disability. She refused to answer. Because she knew he was senile, and didn’t want to do anything about it. So, now we have a senile man running this country, with Comrade Kamala’s help.
  • Border & Immigration: Comrade Kamala was given one major job by Crooked Joe – to be the border czar. She didn’t do it, and now she tries to deny that she was appointed to that position. And how many Americans have died because of her? There are many, including these three - Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin. Comrade Kamala should apologize to all these Americans and their families.
  • Charlottesville: Comrade Kamala keeps talking about Charlotteville, where she lies about what I said. Comrade Kamala, while you and Crooked Joe were busy having the FBI spy on school board parents and MAGA patriots, like they spied on me, did you ever bother to have them spy on those Charlottesville people? Who are they? Who is funding them? Why are you not prosecuting them? And if not, why not?
  • China: In their 2020 debates, Crooked Joe and Comrade Kamala talked tough about China. So, why is America losing the tech war with China? Why is America losing the manufacturing war to them? Why did they wait to shoot down that Chinese spy balloon? Why is China still not being punished for what they did to create COVID?
  • Economy: Comrade Kamala, in your 2020 debate, you said that we needed to focus on American families, and to improve their economic conditions. So why are you promoting Bidenomics? Why are you lying about how good the economy is? It isn’t good for American families. You and Crooked Joe did that. Why are you lying about inflation? You did not inherit high inflation from me. You and Crooked Joe did that.
  • Fracking: Comrade Kamala has long opposed fracking. We have her on tape saying so. So, she is just lying here.
  • Honesty: In 2020 in her debate, Comrade Kamala bragged about her and Crooked Joe being totally transparent and honest. So, why did they lie about Crooked Joe’s senility? Why did she act secretly to remove him in a coup as the nominee? And since she did remove him as a nominee, why hasn’t she removed him as President as well? How is any of this honest and transparent?
  • Impeachment: The Democrats impeached me because they said I used U.S. foreign policy for political purposes. But that phone call was perfect, and I did nothing wrong. Crooked Joe and Comrade Kamala stopped supplying ammunition to Israel to win the votes of Democrat Jew haters. They should both be impeached. And a Jewish person would be crazy to support Comrade Kamala.
  • Iran: Comrade Kamala and Crooked Joe gave Iran over a hundred billion dollars during their term. Obama gave Iran another one hundred and fifty billion dollars. Meanwhile, I enforced sanctions and had them bankrupt. If I was in office, they wouldn’t have had the money to give Hamas to attack Israel. That is why Iran wants Comrade Kamala to win this race and is helping her and interfering in our election. And it is why Iran has put a bounty on my head and on the heads of many of my administration officials. And we all know that she will do nothing about any of this; they already almost got me killed by cutting back my Secret Service protection.
  • Prosecutor: Comrade Kamala likes to brag about her record as a prosecutor in San Francisco. But that city, and that state, are falling apart, with crime and drugs out of control and the homeless destroying public areas and chasing people out. Comrade Kamala, why did Willie Brown choose you to promote your career as a prosecutor in San Francisco, if you won’t actually prosecute real crime?
  • Protecting Democracy: Comrade Kamala, were you protecting democracy when you and Crooked Joe had me prosecuted in phony partisan witch hunts in federal courts and state courts?
  • Racism:I am the least racist person in this room. Every four years the Democrats claim that whoever the Republican candidate is, he is a racist. Crooked Joe did this to Mitt Romney in 2012, but he now pretends Romney is his buddy. Fake news.
  • Russia: In the 2020 debates, you and Crooked Joe said that Russia, because it interferes with our elections, will “pay a price.” How have you two made them pay a price? Are they winning, or losing, their war with the Ukraine? Is Putin stronger or weaker in Russia? Didn’t Russia just replace us in Niger as the superpower, and didn’t they get the American base and our arms and equipment, like the Taliban and China got them in Afghanistan? Why do you think Vladimir Putin endorsed you? He knows you are so weak that you will always appease him, like you did with Iran.

10. Your final statement is still totally obvious:

The American people need to ask themselves some questions. Are we better off now than we were when I was in office? Is it easier for us to go and buy things in the stores than it was? Is it cheaper for us to buy gas for our cars? Is America as respected throughout the world as it was? Do we feel that we are as safe, secure, and as strong as we were when I was President? And can an incompetent far-left Marxist like Comrade Kamala get us back to where we want to be? No, she can’t. I am the only candidate who can make us strong again. That is why I am running — to Make America Great Again.

Especially since you have the final say in this debate.

Good luck, and May the Force Be With You!
